As we reach the end of 2022, we would like to wish all our clients a very Happy Christmas and New Year from the entire team at AMR Bookkeeping Solutions.
For many of us, 2022 has been an unsettling year. The invasion of Ukraine, the cost-of-living crisis, political instability in the UK government and rising inflation mean that many businesses are ending the year feeling uncertain about what the future will hold.
However, we’ve been continually impressed by the resilience shown by both company owners, and employees during these turbulent times, and we would like to say a warm thank you to all our clients for their continued business during 2022. We very much look forward to continuing our relationship in 2023.
Our team has worked hard all year to support our clients and keep up to date with developments, such as changes to the dividend tax rates, and the rise – and subsequent reduction – of National Insurance rates.
We have also written a number of blogs, providing advice and guidance on a variety of payroll and bookkeeping concerns, including student loan deductions, employing an apprentice, claiming capital allowances and tips for self-assessment tax returns.
Don’t forget that our office will be closed over the Christmas period. Our final working day will be Friday 23rd December 2022, and we will reopen on Tuesday 3rd January 2023. So, please remember to send us your payroll and any other bookkeeping needs as soon as possible in December, especially if your business has an early pay-day this month.
