After a rather unexpected year, it’s quite difficult to sum up exactly how much of an impact the pandemic has had on all our daily lives. However, throughout the last 12 months we have watched in admiration as our clients have rapidly adapted to the circumstances around them and continued to run their businesses with commitment and dedication.
Despite the challenges, our team quickly embraced remote working and quickly adapted to the new technology involved to ensure they could continue to support our clients in the safest possible way.
During this time, our team has worked hard to provide the help and information our clients needed, often at a moment’s notice, whether businesses could continue to operate or had to temporarily close. As part of this, we introduced our COVID-19 updates to our news section. This is regularly updated with all the latest information about government support measures, such as the furlough scheme, and other help being given to individuals and businesses during the pandemic.
Additionally, we have also produced dedicated blogs providing advice and information on all aspects of a business’s bookkeeping affairs, including claiming expenses while working from home, successful business budgeting and how to manage your cash flow in a crisis.
However, while we continue to operate in an extremely challenging situation, there is finally an end in sight. With the recent announcement of the very good news that a vaccination has been approved for use in the UK, we can start to look forward to a better and brighter future. Although it might be some time yet before the vaccination will make a tangible impact, we are hopeful that 2021 will be a much more prosperous year.
