Experienced Bookkeeper

Are you a skilled bookkeeper looking to take the next step in your career?

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team in Tonbridge. If you have a passion for numbers, a keen eye for accuracy and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, we want to hear from you!

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional financial services to clients. As a valued member of the team, you’ll benefit from a supportive and dynamic work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to work with a diverse range of clients.

What we are looking for:

  • AAT Level 4 Qualified with bookkeeping experience
  • Xero expertise (knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, and FreeAgent is a plus!)
  • Payroll processing experience (advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while knowing support is available
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients professionally
  • Full UK driving licence (travel between client sites and the office may be required)

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping & Management Accounts – Supporting clients with accurate financial records
  • VAT & CIS Returns – Preparing and submitting returns on behalf of clients
  • Budgeting & Cash Flow Management – Helping businesses stay on top of their finances
  • Client Support – Resolving queries related to bookkeeping, VAT, and CIS
  • Credit Control – Assisting clients in maintaining a healthy cash flow
